MILKSHAKES

We usually make milk shakes with fruits,jams,syrups.Here are some interesting recipes.This post is exclusively for your children nothing wrong in tasting it but keep a check on your calories.

CORNFLAKES MILKSHAKE
Ingredients
Milk-2cups
Cornflakes-2tbsp
Banana-1/2
Milk biscuit-2
Sugar-3tsp

Method
Boil milk and soak cornflakes,sugar and biscuit till it cools
Cut banana into pieces,add to the milk mixture and blend in mixie
Serve chilled
DRY FRUIT MILKSHAKE
Ingredients
Dates-10 deseeded
Badam-4
Cashew-4
Walnut-1/2tbsp
Milk-2cup
Honey-1tbsp

Method
Soak badam in hot water and peel the skin
Boil the milk and soak dates,badam,cashew,walnut in the milk till it cools
Add honey and blend in mixie
Serve chilled

BEETROOT/CARROT MILKSHAKE
Ingredients
Beetroot-1 medium sized
Milk-1litre
Cashew-8
Badam-8
Sugar-1/2cup
Cardamon powder-a pinch
Condensed milk-3tbsp
Chironji-1tbsp

Method
Wash,peel and cut beetroot into small pieces
Add 2 cups of water with beetroot,cashews and badam and pressure cook it
Boil milk till it reduces to half the quantity,add sugar and allow it to cool
Peel the badam and blend with beetroot,cashew,cardamon powder,condensed milk to a smooth paste
Mix the paste with milk,garnish with chironji
Serve chilled
