Cauliflower used to be available only during certain seasons in Tamilnadu, but today you can get it any time of the year, though at a higher price.I have had only Cauliflower sabji with chapathi which my mom used to make before marriage.I was happy to see this dish when my MIL made that too as a side dish for rice.It is a very simple recipe and tasty one and can be had with sambar/rasam rice too.

Cauliflower-1 medium size
Pepper-2 tsp coarsely grinded
Jeera-1tsp coarsely grinded
Ghee/oil-2 tsp
Curry leaves-a few
Coriander leaves-to garnish
Salt-as required

Cut the cauliflower to florettes, clean and steam cook with salt
Heat oil and add the pepper, jeera and curry leaves and immediately add the cooked cauliflower and mix till the pepper is coated evenly
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice
We usually add some peas also
You can also grind in a mixie the pepper-jeera in small quantity and store it
But do not powder it
