GUJARATI LADY'S FINGER
Ingredients
Lady's finger-1/2kg
Asafoetida-apinch
Turmeric powder-1/2tsp
Chilli powder-1tsp
Coriander powder-1tsp
Olive pomace oil for
frying lady's finger
salt to taste
Method
Take lady's finger,wash and dry them cut them into 1/2" long pieces
Heat olive oil in a pan and put asafoetida,salt,lady's finger pieces into it and cook covered for 15 minutes
After it is cooked add all the powders and cook for 2 minutes
Serve hot
BITTER GOURD
Ingredients
Bitter gourd-2-3nos
Jaggery-2tbsp
Onions-2 chopped
Olive oil-2tsp
For seasoning
Red chilli powder-2tsp
Turmeric powder-1tsp
Green chillies-2 cut lengthwise
Salt to taste
Method
Remove the skin of bitter gourds and make small pieces apply salt and keep them aside
After half an hour squeeze the pieces and remove the juice
Heat oil and saute onions and green chillies
After that put chopped bitter gourds and mix all the seasonings put the jaggery and cook for 15 minutes
Serve hot with finely chopped coriander leaves with rotis
